So, one week to go, and I wonder just how many romantic Valentine’s Day marriage proposals there will be this time next week?!
I heard a crazy thing on the radio today that today is National Sickie Day because the first Monday in February is traditionally the day that more people call in ‘sick’ than any other. Well, let’s hope those of them looking to pop the question this Valentine’s Day are making use of their day off to plan for the occasion. Valentine’s day is of course the day in the year which most people ask ‘Will you marry me?’ and in America 10% of all wedding proposals are made on Valentine’s Day. Crazy! Well, it makes sense: Valentine’s Day is the ‘day of love’. It’s a day for couples to celebrate how much they love each other. Marvelous meals are had, gorgeous gifts and cracking cards are exchanged and, most importantly, that special someone is loved more than ever. Why wouldn’t this be the best day to do it?
Yep, Valentine’s day is approaching, love is in the air, proposals aplenty are around the corner and lots more wedding videos are set to be made. Roll on spring and roll camera!
